We represent pedestrians injured in motor vehicle related accidents, pedestrians injured in sidewalk trip and fall related, pedestrians injured in snow and ice related slip and fall accidents; and pedestrians injured in the negligent maintenance of stairways, subway platforms, parks and other public areas. We handle bicycle accident cases in the five boroughs of New York City – Manhattan, Brooklyn, Bronx, Queens and Staten Island.
All consultations are without charge. The legal fee (standard one-third) is contingent upon recovery. In other words, if we don’t win or settle your case, there is no cost to you. This firm pays all expenses in the prosecution of the action. Despite the fact that the rules of attorney ethics require that the client remain responsible for expenses incurred, the Law Firm of Joel J. Turney has yet, in the many years of practice, to seek reimbursement from a client for expenses where there has been no recovery.
